Bobby's swing show can be performed with a whole range of band sizes to suit a variety of different settings and we'll work closely with you to help choose the right format for your venue size, budget and the mood of the occasion.
Here's a few examples of popular band sizes, together with details and descriptions.
Jazz Quartet
This is the smallest of the live band options, so has the advantage of being the most compact for physical size and budget.
The musicians play from chord sheets and use their experience and skill to 'ad-lib' and interact with one another.
This makes for a very free and mellow mood but a sound which can swing in all the right places.
It's the Jazz trio vibe made famous by Tony Bennett - with an added trumpet or sax soloist fror good measure!

7 Piece Swing Band
A medium size outfit, this is the smallest band in which the musicians play specific 'scored' parts. With a small but complete horn section, this enables the big numbers like 'Come fly with me' to really start to come alive.
A much bigger sound to really get your party swingin'!

Full Big Band
If you can fit these boys into your venue, plus still have room for some guests, then this is simply the full nine yards! There is nothing whatsoever like a swingin' Big Band at full tilt!
It's a high octane show that should not be missed, with all the big numbers from Frank and friends, while retaining the subtlety to play all the beautiful ballads from that same swing era.
It's suprisingly affordable too, guaranteed to turn your big occasion into an unforgettable experience!

One Man Show
Bobby's most cut-down show option is his self contained 'One Man Show.' Perfect for compact venue sizes, this option boasts top quality Big band backing tracks sourced from America.
There's an extra live element too, with selected trumpet solos from Bobby!
